Settlement Services

The MRCSA provides a broad range of settlement services to new arrivals of migrant and humanitarian background, most of who are in their first five years of settlement. These settlement services aim to assist new arrivals to adjust to life in Australia, to link and engage with available services and supports, and to further their independence and participation in all spheres of community life.

Settlement services include case-managed Humanitarian Settlement Services for humanitarian new arrivals, settlement services through the Department of Immigration and Citizenship’s Settlement Grants Program, and specialist services targeted to groups with specific needs: women, young people at risk, families with children, men, and small and isolated groups of new settlers in metropolitan and regional South Australia.
