Community EmpowermentThe MRCSA works closely with leaders and key representatives of its client communities, including women and young people, to support them to develop both their knowledge of Australian systems and their skills to negotiate these systems. This work aims to help communities achieve independence and the capacity to assist their own members with settlement and participation.
Ethnic Leaders ForumsThe MRCSA holds regular forums with leaders and key representatives of new and emerging communities. These forums focus on information and consultation, providing community members with information on a range of settlement topics, and encouraging them to raise any issues or concerns about the settlement and participation of their communities. Meetings held with individual community groups and subgroups assist them with specific needs and concerns.
