The MRCSA provides a number of welfare support measures aimed at assisting needy individuals and families to access temporary respite from their financial difficulties and improve their understanding and skills in relation to budgeting.
Financial Counselling Service
Individual Counselling and Group Information Workshops assists with client budgeting advice and information on their rights and obligations as consumers.
Mediation and Advocacy with creditors on behalf of clients
Referral to Welfare Organisations for additional support such as clothing and personal items, household goods and other assistance.Emergency Relief to eligible individuals and families in emergency need, both directly or through their community groups and organisations.
Community support is provided to individuals with special needs including furthering their studies, dealing with a crisis situation and/or requiring funds for a special purpose.
